Well that looks fantastic! And I'm sure glad I watched your video. Since you did this all correctly, I can now see this is something I'm going to have to hire someone to do for my kitchen. I don't have sprayers and such and it's beyond me but I really admire what you've done.

This is totally not in my personal color palette, but I do know people who LOVE color who would likely be all over this piece if you were in the Southern US. This mid-century style is still very popular among a lot of people so just because my French Countryside butt would not be able to use it does not mean no one will. I think it turned out stunning and you will be very surprised by the response to it. <3

I’m not against painting furniture but I was so excited after you finished sanding and did the paint wash/stain combo. I think it would have been a beautiful finish for the whole piece. Good job nonetheless!

agree, leave it alone! It is beautiful and kinda boho. Just like the style of the furniture it will be for a niche client. Not my personal style (French Country 😊), but it is one of my favorite colors.

The color for me was just too intense, though I liked the burnt orange idea. I might have softened the tone to a bit more muted. Definitely a better choice with the light wood and scrapping the wood on the drawers. Liked the brass knobs too. Overall good job!! 👍🏻 😊

I like it just the way it is. It's a fun accent color that will have a few people clamor to buy. I love the hardware too. Give it a chance, I bet it sells fast.

Ohhhhh Katie! I love this color! I just painted my kitchen about a year ago, but I painted over a color so similar to this one and I still miss it. I am a product of the 70's and we didn't really see much furniture this color, except for kitchens, carpets and accesories. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

i personally LOVE this! that's one of my favorite colors and the lighter legs really work beautifully with the color. i can see why it may be off putting to some people--but i'd give it a home :)

MCM is so popular now that you will probably sell it pretty fast. Personally, I would have chosen a bolder colour if I was keeping the original hardware (sea foam green, eggplant, cherry red…) or I would leave the colour and change the hardware to something more modern (but keep that hardware for another project! They are gorgeous!). I find the combo of the 60’s colour and the 60’s hardware makes it too original - people want original, but updated… if that makes sense. But that’s me. The quality of your work looks fabulous!
